Another quick and simple food gift - I make about 10 gifts from one batch. I use a recipe from BettyCrocker dot com

I changed it up a bit for this video - using a chocolate peanut butter instead of plain creamy. A fabulous idea. BTW Peanut Butter & Co Dark Chocolate Dream is available in most supermarkets and Walmart stores across the country, if you want to try it. I've also made it with almond butter, Nutz (which is a mixture of nuts and seeds), and Cookie Butter. Works with any type of spread that is thick like peanut butter.

Also I use Shoprite Corn and Rice Squares instead of Chex. You can use what you want. They are pretty much the same.

Puppy chow
Adapted from Betty Crocker website

9 cups crispy squares cereal*
1/2 cup Peanut butter (I used Peanut Butter & Co Dark Chocolate Dream)
1 cup dark Chocolate chips
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1.5 cups Powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Put cereal in a bowl and set aside.

In microwaveable bowl, combined chocolate, peanut butter and butter. Cook on high for 1 min; stir. Cook another 30 seconds; whisk until smooth.

Put peanut butter mixture over cereal. Fold a few times and make sure to coat all the cereal.

Put into 2 gallon zip bag. Put in powdered sugar. Seal and shake well until coated.

Serve. Makes 11 servings.

* I used generic but you can use real Chex cereal. Use a mix of the 3 flavors for the best flavor. I used Rice and Corn.

(I can buy it at ShopRite. It's about $3 for a small roll. If u don't have any, use a silicone baking mat or plain tin foil sprayed with cooking spray.)
